Welcome to NDIS Local (ndislocal.com). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website (“the Site”) operated by NDIS Local (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About NDIS Local

NDIS Local is an independent directory, content, and information website for Australians seeking National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports and services. NDIS Local is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

2. Not Professional Advice

Content on this Site — including blog posts, news articles, suburb pages, and directory listings — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, professional, legal, financial, medical, or NDIS planning advice.

While content is informed by real sector experience, your NDIS plan, eligibility, and supports are individual to you. You should always confirm current NDIS rules, funding, and eligibility directly with the NDIA, your Local Area Coordinator, plan manager, or support coordinator, and refer to the official ndis.gov.au for authoritative guidance.

3. Directory Listings Are Not Endorsements

NDIS Local maintains a directory of NDIS providers and services organised by suburb and region. Inclusion of a provider in our directory:

• Does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of the quality, suitability, or registration status of that provider
• Does not reflect any partnership or business relationship unless explicitly stated
• Should not replace your own due diligence, including checking a provider’s NDIS registration status where relevant, reading reviews, and speaking with the provider directly

Each provider listing shows whether the provider says it is registered with the NDIS, and we check listings before they go live. Registration can change, so please confirm it on the NDIS Commission’s provider register before you sign a service agreement.

We make reasonable efforts to keep listing information accurate but do not guarantee its completeness, currency, or accuracy.

4. Lead Generation and Provider Enquiries

Where the Site offers a form to submit an enquiry or be connected with an NDIS provider or plan manager, submitting that form authorises us to share the information you provide with the relevant provider(s) so they can respond to you. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle this information. We are not a party to, and accept no liability for, any agreement or service arrangement you enter into with a provider found through the Site.

5. User Conduct

When using the Site, including submitting comments or enquiries, you agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems
• Post defamatory, abusive, or unlawful content in comments or submissions
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Site without our written permission

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to NDIS Local and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial use, but may not reproduce, republish, or distribute content from this Site without our prior written consent, other than brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the original page.

7. Third-Party Links and Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including provider websites, government resources, and news sources referenced in our content. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

The provider names, ratings and addresses shown under “NDIS providers near” on suburb pages come from Google. Ratings reflect what Google users have posted, and we do not check or verify them.

8. Featured Listings

Providers can pay for a featured listing, which shows their business at the top of the provider section on the suburb pages they choose. Featured listings are marked as featured. Paying for a featured listing does not mean we endorse or recommend that provider, and it does not change how we check listings. Terms for providers are set out in our Provider listing terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NDIS Local and its contributors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the Site
• Reliance on any content, directory listing, or information published on the Site
• Any interaction with a provider found through the Site
• Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in Site content

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Content Accuracy and Changes

NDIS rules, funding categories, and provider information can change. We aim to keep content up to date but do not guarantee that all information on the Site is current at all times. We reserve the right to modify, update, or remove content, features, or these Terms at any time without notice.

11. Comments and User-Submitted Content

If you submit a comment or other content to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display, and moderate that content. We reserve the right to remove any comment or submission at our discretion, including content that is unlawful, defamatory, spam, or off-topic.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
